yummy cupcake cake

it's my brother's girls friends Rachael's birthday today, so i made her this cupcake card, i am going to use it as my entry to two challenges, firstly the challenge over at stamp with us they have a fabby sketch which i have attached, in the hope i can tempt you to hop over and join in, they only have a few rules one of which is you must use one stampin' up product,there design team have made some fabby cards, you must take a peek, the second challenge is over at pile it on i know you all love this challenge, theme is let them eat cake nice...i love cake...there are the best cupcakes ever sold at Hampshire's farm markets, Beckie who makes them is uber nice..if you live in Hampshire she will be selling them at petersfield farmers market tomorrow morning,i will be there rain or shine..back to pile it on, they are sponsored by stamp and smiles this week,up for grabs is a lovely goody bag,nice cards on show from their design team

first card of the week ....

hello crafty friends, eventually made a card this week,took me all afternoon,arms a lot better today, thank you for all your kind messages xx. i am going to use this card to enter 4 challenges
creative inspirations have a fabby sketch this week,which you can find above if i can tempt you into joining me, their challenges run Monday till Monday, so you still have time to blog hop over and join in,some fabby bits by their design team to peek at,the second challenge is over at allsorts which we all love hey girls they have the theme of Autumn days,which i have chosen to follow the colours of Autumn as i have no stamps with leaves tree's etc,some fabby examples from their design team,over at one stop craft challenge, they have the theme of die cuts, i love using die cuts, they can make a project, a little chalk or light distressing with an ink pad makes them pop, and a nice way of using up the little pieces of card us crafters hate to bin !! nice examples to peek at from their design team also,the last challenge is our creative corner a new to me challenge blog,and their theme is monochromatic mania, fabby just up my street as i am quite new to rubber stamping i only have a limited supply of colouring mediums,and this challenge fits my derwent water colour pencils, if you have not visited this blog before grab a coffee and pop over, i am sure you will agree it lovely blog

cute fancy fold spring card

hello, well its a beautiful sunny day on the south coast, off out to love Albert road day soon,it's a twice a year event were the road is closed, bands ,street entertainers etc, its a Bohemian street, retro shops, second had goods, boutiques etc, the card i want to share today is a fancey fold spring card, will pit measurements on later when i get back, going to use for 2 of my favorite challenges, cute daisy may which has a theme of texture this week, this blog show cases the hand drawn and then turned into digi stamp designs of they talented Linnie, a must for all card makers
the other challenge is forever friends, theme this week is fancy folds, and you must use one of the forever bear products, i love these cute cheeky chaps,i just love bears..
materials used
forever friends rubber stamp with a daisy, which i cut off, bought from i coloured with my chalk pencils from i love chalks,they are a very under used medium A4 sheet of card to make the base spring card, 2 sheets of color core coredinations card stock, beautiful texture, i embossed some with a flower plate in my bigshot,the parcels die cuts i bought from eBay, i chalked around edges also, flower i made with paper punches, message from craftwork cards,on a mat cut with stampin up scallop oval punch, ribbon from my stash, off out catch up later my crafty friends, Julie-Anne xx

yummy cupcakes ..

while the gang were at footie i had a lovely play with my new stampin up stamps..yummy calorie free cupcakes, had some real fun,took my mind off my sore arm, charlies grandie wants to whip me off to the minor injury clinic again as its gone a very dark brown, not really how i want to spend my Saturday night..going to use this card to enter 2 challenges, sketch and stash fabby sketch which i have put above, just in case i can tempt you to hop over and join me,i love the sketches they have not too fiddly, and they encorage you to use bits from your stash, my new stamps and the ribbons are from my stash,the other challenge i found for the first time this morning is stamp with us you have to use at least one stampin up product, they have a recipe wait for it, NO PATTERNED PAPER 2 x RIBBONS 2 x STAMPS, i can here you all shouting was a nice refreshing change to think outside the box

stiff and sore ...

good morning girls, quite sore this morning and my hand and wrist stiff, Mr Oscar my Lhasa apso puppy he's just a year old,has a hair appointment this morning, so he will sulk all afternoon, will try and remember to take picture when he gets back, will look quite cute,charlies grandie took him down to the beach last night so he needs the sand washing out of his curls....sat planning my Christmas cards last night, must make a start soon, must be more organised than last year when i did not start till the first week in December...naughty crafty nanny, hope All's well, catch up later, Julie-Anne xx

help girls please, quite new to rubber stamping, at the moment i have whispers brush markers, water colour pencils,chalks and some aqua crayons, but love the effect that i have seen while blog hopping given by copic and pro markers, they are not cheep and will have to collect a few at a time,which ones are the question, and what colours...any advise would be fabby, many thanks Julie-Anne xx

cute mimosa cupcake by bidmalarna

is this image so cute she arrived this morning,she is a new release from bidmalarna, i bought her with an other one from i just had to have a play, i am going to use this card a try for 3 challenges
Simon says stamp challenge they have a recipe challenge to Use 3 embellishments, 2 papers, and 1 image , always a nice mixture of challenges here
c.r.a.f.t challenge their theme is pink and brown, what a fabby colour combination, if you like these colours like me hop over and join in

fairy pumpkin card

managed to fight my way onto the computer....charlies grandie worked from home today..don't they mess up your normal routine.. i have found a new challenge, well new to me crazy 4 challenges they have a fabby simple sketch which i have put above, could not help myself just had to play, they are on their 3rd challenge, this sketch works perfectly h the challenge over at digital Tuesday which has a theme of clean and simple fall card,if you have n joined them you must use a digital image.
materials used
cute daisy may digi download, printed onto white shimmer card,coloured with water colour pencils,i whipped it out the printer quick and embossed it with clear embossing powder,the papers pink petticoat swirl down load papers in sand and gold colour way, also printed onto white shimmer paper from the papermill shop, i used an A5 white card blank, card candy and ribbon from my stash, hope all you crafty girls had a nice weekend, back later, big hugs Julie-Anne xx

hello crafty girls, i made this card today as a luck card for my youngest son, who is just 16, he is playing at southsea fest tomorrow, what a week after playing support to roses king castle on Wednesday eve, hes a bit special as he writes all his own songs and music, huge as he has suffered with ME/CFS for three years, after dinner i will add picture of him and see the likeness,i am also going to use it for 2 challenges, the corrosive challenge

i am going to use this sweet Oriental card as my entry for 3 challenges,i have used the sketch above from crafty cardmakers challenge blog,which is one of the challenges, the other two are simon says stamp challenge and ABC challenge

digi down load from coloured in with water colour pencils,i printed out onto white shimmer paper, quickly threw some clear embossing power on the image as soon as it emerged from printer and heat embossed
8" white card blank,and card stock from die cuts with a view far eastern stack
i used the go-kreated layering dies to cut the main Matt, the flowers were cut from a wooden die i bough off ebay, card candy from i inked round all the die cuts,Matt's and decorative papers with an old rustcoloured ink pad to give card some definition, layered up with 1mm foam pads
weather here is not nice.dark grey and lots of showers...not very good for ting pictures, must go and start dinner, Emily's in from school and Edwards just home from college, not very nice when they are hungry, crafty hugs Julie-Anne

lovely family day

top class day here on the south coast, my baby girl's 14Th birthday..were have the year's gone..being the youngest of 4 she will always be the baby, we asked her how she wanted to spend her special picnic it was,all the gang,partners, our grandson charlie, and the oldies went to local park, we had enough food to feed an army,did it in style down to the picnic table, we got some looks..or maybe it was the loud laughter..played a game of football rounders, and the pass the parcel,

i stamped and embossed the image into smooth white card, i layered each layer with 2mm foam pads,to give card more impact, i love this stamp as reminds me of charlie, he loves bubbles, and bath toys,there is only just room for him , crafty hugs, Julie-Anne
