hello

hello crafty girls, frustrated..still can't craft,arms not too good at all,the burn runs from my knuckles to mid fore arm, being my right arm real pain, excuse pun..like a snake shedding my skin..its wrapped in a kind of cling film to keep it clean and stop it drying out..nice..typing left handed, excuse spelling ...hope to be back playing in a couple of days, crafty hugs to you all, Julie-Anne xx

cute fancy fold spring card


hello, well its a beautiful sunny day on the south coast, off out to love Albert road day soon,it's a twice a year event were the road is closed, bands ,street entertainers etc, its a Bohemian street, retro shops, second had goods, boutiques etc, the card i want to share today is a fancey fold spring card, will pit measurements on later when i get back, going to use for 2 of my favorite challenges, cute daisy may http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.com/2009/09/texture.html which has a theme of texture this week, this blog show cases the hand drawn and then turned into digi stamp designs of they talented Linnie, a must for all card makers
the other challenge is forever friends,http://foreverfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/21st-september-fancy-folds.html theme this week is fancy folds, and you must use one of the forever bear products, i love these cute cheeky chaps,i just love bears..
materials used
forever friends rubber stamp with a daisy, which i cut off, bought from www.glitterpot.co.uk i coloured with my chalk pencils from www.craftsulove.co.uk i love chalks,they are a very under used medium A4 sheet of card to make the base spring card, 2 sheets of color core coredinations card stock, beautiful texture, i embossed some with a flower plate in my bigshot,the parcels die cuts i bought from eBay, i chalked around edges also, flower i made with paper punches, message from craftwork cards,on a mat cut with stampin up scallop oval punch, ribbon from my stash, off out catch up later my crafty friends, Julie-Anne xx

yummy cupcakes ..




while the gang were at footie i had a lovely play with my new stampin up stamps..yummy calorie free cupcakes, had some real fun,took my mind off my sore arm, charlies grandie wants to whip me off to the minor injury clinic again as its gone a very dark brown, not really how i want to spend my Saturday night..going to use this card to enter 2 challenges, sketch and stashhttp://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/09/sketch-and-stash-challenge-19.html fabby sketch which i have put above, just in case i can tempt you to hop over and join me,i love the sketches they have not too fiddly, and they encorage you to use bits from your stash, my new stamps and the ribbons are from my stash,the other challenge i found for the first time this morning is stamp with us http://stampwithus.blogspot.com/2009/09/stamp-with-us-recipe-challenge.html you have to use at least one stampin up product, they have a recipe wait for it, NO PATTERNED PAPER 2 x RIBBONS 2 x STAMPS, i can here you all shouting ...no papers..it was a nice refreshing change to think outside the box

good morning girls, quite sore this morning and my hand and wrist stiff, Mr Oscar my Lhasa apso puppy he's just a year old,has a hair appointment this morning, so he will sulk all afternoon, will try and remember to take picture when he gets back, will look quite cute,charlies grandie took him down to the beach last night so he needs the sand washing out of his curls....sat planning my Christmas cards last night, must make a start soon, must be more organised than last year when i did not start till the first week in December...naughty crafty nanny, hope All's well, catch up later, Julie-Anne xx

copics or promarkers..help

help girls please, quite new to rubber stamping, at the moment i have whispers brush markers, water colour pencils,chalks and some aqua crayons, but love the effect that i have seen while blog hopping given by copic and pro markers, they are not cheep and will have to collect a few at a time,which ones are the question, and what colours...any advise would be fabby, many thanks Julie-Anne xx

fairy pumpkin card

i used the go-kreated layering dies to cut the main Matt, the flowers were cut from a wooden die i bough off ebay, card candy from http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/ i inked round all the die cuts,Matt's and decorative papers with an old rustcoloured ink pad to give card some definition, layered up with 1mm foam pads
weather here is not nice.dark grey and lots of showers...not very good for ting pictures, must go and start dinner, Emily's in from school and Edwards just home from college, not very nice when they are hungry, crafty hugs Julie-Anne

lovely family day

top class day here on the south coast, my baby girl's 14Th birthday..were have the year's gone..being the youngest of 4 she will always be the baby, we asked her how she wanted to spend her special day..family picnic..so picnic it was,all the gang,partners, our grandson charlie, and the oldies went to local park, we had enough food to feed an army,did it in style down to the picnic table, we got some looks..or maybe it was the loud laughter..played a game of football rounders, and the pass the parcel,

mini friends paper bag book, 3 in 1 challenge entry


i have made this little paper bag book for my eldest daughter Zoe, she is very beautifull and career minded young lady, she is 23, she has just been promoted, and will be flying the nest to live in Epsom surrey, she will be home most weekends, i am going to fill the book with photographs of all her friends, they have all given me special messages to put in the pockets, i am going to use it as my entry for 3 blog challenges
