yummy cupcake cake

it's my brother's girls friends Rachael's birthday today, so i made her this cupcake card, i am going to use it as my entry to two challenges, firstly the challenge over at stamp with us http://stampwithus.blogspot.com/2009/09/stamp-with-us-sketch-challenge.html they have a fabby sketch which i have attached, in the hope i can tempt you to hop over and join in, they only have a few rules one of which is you must use one stampin' up product,there design team have made some fabby cards, you must take a peek, the second challenge is over at pile it on http://pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/09/challenge-17-let-them-eat-cake.html i know you all love this challenge, theme is let them eat cake nice...i love cake...there are the best cupcakes ever sold at Hampshire's farm markets, Beckie who makes them is uber nice..if you live in Hampshire she will be selling them at petersfield farmers market tomorrow morning,i will be there rain or shine..back to pile it on, they are sponsored by stamp and smiles this week,up for grabs is a lovely goody bag,nice cards on show from their design team
materials used
6" white card blank, bazzill card stock,papers stampin' up pressie from Sarah Jane,ribbon American craft elements,stamps are from SU,crazy for cupcakes and oval all,if you need any SU supplies you can find a link on my blog to Sarah Jane,i coloured stamped images with glitter pens,making some notelets for Rachael's birthday, need to go and finish them , good job they are out today and we wont catch up until tomorrow, lost a few days with my arm,which is more comfortable today,catch up later, happy crafting, Julie-Anne xx

first card of the week ....




hello crafty friends, eventually made a card this week,took me all afternoon,arms a lot better today, thank you for all your kind messages xx. i am going to use this card to enter 4 challenges

materials used
bildamalarne rubber stamp, i bought it from bunny Zoe's crafts,stamped with black ink and embossed with clear powder,coloured with derwent water colour pencils the number and colours are,16 flesh pink,59 brown for the hair,56 yellow ochre,57 brown ochre,58 raw sienna,i inked around all the edges of die cuts, DP and carock with amber clay color box fluid chalk inkpad,
8" white square card blank,2 sheets of bazzill co-ordinating card stock,decorative papers stampin up, co-ordinating grosgrain ribbon SU,die cuts from a wooden die i bought off eBay,flat back gems from my stash,still only typing with 2 fingers so please excuse spelling and the quality of the picture,camera and only one hand working properly is a challengeits own,catch up latter, crafty hugs to all, julie-anne xx
