paper bag book for charlies mummy

just finished a paper bag book for charlies mum

we bought her a camera for Christmas, and she has taken some smashing cute pictures of him

first bag book i have made, quite pleased, embellished with my version of tear bears

not quite as good as the real thing but,not bad for a first attempted, just cut loads of circles and ovals using paper punches, damped the card, and ruffled up with a small child's tooth brush, then i played around until i liked the effect

sorry my computers stills are quite basic, the way the photos have come out on this posting a bit wild, but hey ho

going to enter the book into the challenge over at

Simon Says Stamp Challenge
,theme this week is any thing..yes any thing but a card

one 6"x 6" brown paper bag book, sorry folks not sure were i bought,at a craft fair,if i remember will post
lots and lots of off cuts of ribbon, most of it gingham
primary coloured card,from stash
flowers from stash
die cut letters in different sizes, cut using sizzix and quickutz alphabets
mixed sentiment and phrase rubber amps, all clear, from stash
tags cut using bigshot
circles to make bears cut from brown and cream card from papermill shop
printed off backing papers from a CD which came free with crafts beautiful magazine last may
with 12 sides to decorate i decided the easiest way would be to cut some card to size decorate and then add to page when finished, cut the base card from thin white card, approx 15cm by 10cm,once i had decorated i attached to the book pages with some Hi Tack sticky glue, great for sticking with,as you do not need much and it dries clear, once all pages decorated, tied the book together with ribbon,i did look locally for some book rings ,with no luck, going to pop it round after lunch, fingers crossed she likes it
