Rugby Mad

Hello, I would like to share a card I made for my rugby mad dad. Well he is just sport mad, from playing while he was in the navy to coaching when he came out and then as a ref. When i was growing up quality time with him was spent at the old saints rugby club in the winter and Northampton cricket ground in the summer. My husband was so impressed when we meet i knew what the offside rules were ! He bought me a season ticket to watch his football team as a wedding present.
Materials Used
White 8" card blank by Craftwork cards
Image is Alfie by scruffy little kitten @ Cafters Companion .
Solid card by American crafts, die cuts beautifully
Decorative papers from scruffy little kittens
Promarkers and flexi markers oatmeal, putty, sun-kissed pink, warm grey 1&2, blue grey 1,2&3,blue pearl, denim blue, caramel, coco, sandstone.
scrabble pieces i found in a charity shop and buttons from my stash.
I used the essential rectangles by Tattered Lace.
I like to decorate the inside of my cards with coordinating decorative papers.

2 cute ink digital stamps challenge. the theme for challenge #131 is fathers day. i love to make male themed cards, funny i know but i do.
Crafting From The Heart, challenge #64 has the theme as always any thing goes.Great dt inspirations.

Crafty Boots Challenge, the theme is fathers day or a male themed card.
Get Creative challenges. The theme for challenge #17 for the man in your life/fathers day
Cards 4 Guys Challenge Blog. This is one of my favorite blogs its all about the boys, please if you find making cards for the boys in your life pop over the ubber talented team will get your mojo back. the theme for challenge #75 is fathers day.

      Thank you Jane, we are having our 25 th wedding anniversary next year and recently he said we could have a special holiday and go to the European championships !
